This lovely meteorite ring shows off a frame of blue enamel. The two blue stripes surround the genuine Gibeon meteorite in this titanium wedding band. The beautiful crystalline patterns, known as Widmanstätten patterns, add an ethereal design element. These patterns only appear after millions of years of the meteorite cooling down. There is literally nothing else on Earth that has these characteristics. That is one of the things what makes this ring so special.

Behind the Piece

This piece is cut and set entirely by hand by Johan in Minneapolis, USA. The Gibeon meteorite inlay is etched with acid to reveal its unique Widmanstätten crystal pattern — a formation that took millions of years at approximately 1°C per million years of cooling.
